Well, I'm sure our Western friends wouldn't find these temperatures too appalling, but the -26 degree start to our Nova Scotian morning was a bit harsh! However, in true Nova Scotian fashion, it was a balmy +3 degrees when I left work!
We continued work on our Lease vs Buy Projects during class time today. :)
We began our Lease or Buy projects today, with some folks selecting some very interesting, err, expensive vehicles. I didn't even know you could add $16 000.00 worth of accessories! Who knew?! :)
Some folks are braving the world of Prezi to create their presentations while others are sticking to their tried and true Power Point.
We will devote another class period to the completion of these projects.
Thanks for another great class folks!

We started class with a circle to see how everyone spent their vacation and/or what gift they received that was interesting. We had some very diverse answers, ranging from new clothes, a family trip to Europe, hunting, family dinners, hockey tournaments, a horse spa, and just hanging out at home or with friends.
We worked on the assignments for outcomes A11 and A12, which can be found under the "Getting Behind the Wheel" unit tab.
We have lots of current and future drivers in the class so there was lots of discussion around demerit points and driving suspensions! :)
We will continue work on these 2 assignments tomorrow!
Great to see everyone again!
Hope everyone enjoyed their well deserved vacation!
Classes resume January 3rd, 2013!
Can't wait to see everyone!
We'll be working on the "Getting Behind the Wheel" unit! :)
A sample of one of the paper kissing balls created before the break! Thanks to Pinterest for the inspiration! (How's that for 3D geometry?!)
